Let’s Keep Growing is a People of Colour and migrant led community gardening project working on turning Longsight alleyways and other spaces into friendly, green havens for people and wildlife. Everyone has a relation to nature and food, so we use food growing in small communal spaces as a way to bring people together.

V2020 is a registered charity based in Gorton, Manchester UK.

V2020 adopts instructive and reformative ICT, social, leadership, sports/exercises skills training to change lives of those in these BME communities it serves, providing opportunities for socially disadvantaged, hard to reach, excluded young people age NEET 19+ and adults; through low income, rural, social isolation etc.

V2020 assists these groups to find routes back into education, volunteering and employment in BME communities of Gorton, Manchester UK; one of the most socially deprived neighbourhoods in UK (Government Report). V2020 also enhances people’s personal development through community involvement; train, empower and skill them through coaching and mentoring

Partisan is a collective and volunteer run space for community led, DIY and cultural projects. They’re not-for-profit; all the money they make is put back into making good things happen for each other.

Partisan are a community space that is shaped for and by the people who use it - that’s what they mean by DIY. They use revenue to provide affordable and free space to social justice, creative and community groups.

They have hosted gigs, talks, book groups, workshops, family events, clothes swaps, meals and we want to do more in the new space. Whatever you want your community space to be, we can make it happen together at Partisan.

Savera UK campaign to eliminate ‘honour’-based abuse and harmful practices and provide life-saving services to those at risk, regardless of age, culture, sexuality or gender.

Established in 2010, they are a leading charity tackling culturally-specific abuse in the UK, including forced marriage and female genital mutilation. They advocate for those who need a voice and offer a completely confidential and non-judgemental service.

Ethnic Minorities & Youth Support Team was set up in 2005 by a group of ethnic minority young people in Swansea. It aimed to fill a gap in provision for young BME people aged 11-25 by providing a targeted, culturally sensitive and holistic support service to meet their needs.

Since then, EYST has expanded its mission and vision to also meet the needs of BME young people, families and individuals including refugees and asylum-seekers living in Wales. It does this through the provision of a wide range of services including education, employment, health, family support and community safety.
